Back in November, I decided to run an online workshop to help anyone who was feeling scared and anxious based on the result of the 2016 US Elections.
Fast forward a few months, and the fear is oozing out of every pore of the press, of social media, and many people’s minds…including my own.
I am trying to focus on the things I can change in my world, and the difference I can make in the world to help other people as well, I cannot do anything much to influence the machinations of world leaders other than exercise my right to vote with my ballot paper and my consumer choices. I can choose to work with what I have in my life, and inside me, to make my life the best it can be, and to be as calm and at peace as I can be.
In this workshop I teach several breating practices that can help when you are in a moment of stress, anxiety and fear. Practiced regularly, they will reduce your levels of stress, anxiety and fear, and allow you to respond more positively to event that occur around you.

Today, this was my action. Instead of focussing on how negative things seem, I decided to create this workshop to share some practical tools you can use to help you to deal with stress, fear, and negativity.
I shared some breathing techniques, some mindset practices and ‘a very physical way we can ‘throw out’ negativity and stress.
These tools are keeping me grounded right now. I want the same for you.
