Learning to breathe properly transformed my life completely.
When I began yoga teacher training in 2014, I was an insomniac, asthmatic, smoking alcoholic, on the edge of a nervous breakdown. I was in a terrible state mentally, in a state of permanent high stress and anxiety.
Learning to breathe enabled me to calm my frazzled nervous system, develop a bank of coping strategies to help me deal with stress and anxiety, and sleep well at night.
I stopped drinking and smoking after seven months of this training, something I had tried to do without success for many years before.
Since learning to breathe well, my life is so much better. I am healthier, happier and able to deal with the difficulties life throws my way.
