I am having the sort of day that, 3 years ago, would have seen me in a beer garden for a “liquid lunch”, smoking copious cigarettes, in tears, swearing, cursing the world, screaming at call centre staff, throwing laptops around and planning to get VERY drunk later, if not half way there already! It has been a very trying day, with a spot of amazingly good news from my very clever boy Liam (who WILL be heading to America for his final year of study, after doing brilliantly in his 2nd year exams!), and finally winning my battle with the ticket websites the finally secure ticket to see the MAGINIFICENT Queens of the Stone Age live in Manchester in November

Do you have days like this? How do you deal with them?

While I have found today a challenge, and have got frustrated, annoyed and upset, I have not lost my temper, felt like crying, sworn at anyone, so much as thought about smoking or drinking, or any of the negative ways I ‘coped’ with life before.

We can either fight against the elements that weather us, or we can bend and grow like this tree (I LOVE this tree so much!)

Life is NEVER going to be challenge free, but it is how we deal with our challenges that counts. We can learn a lot from the things that challenge us, and we can learn a lot from our response to them.

Thanks to the strategies I now have at my disposal, I can get through the challenges, and come out the other side. I can see the things I can do differently to avoid these things happening again in future, or to mitigate the impact of them in my life.

I have a fantastic range of tools and techniques that help me move quickly from stress and upset into acceptance, gratitude and happiness, and I would love to share them with you.

If you could use some calm, relaxation, more joyful living, my one to one online sessions could be just the kick start you need. Depending on your personal situation, I can teach you strategies to reframe problems, to help you relax after difficulty rather than hanging on to the problem, to let go of tension and anger, to sleep better, to be kinder to yourself and much more.
