Is Stress Affecting Your Business?
How much would reducing stress help your business?
I can help!
Is stress an issue in your business?
As a business owner, you want to treat your employees fairly, while getting the best work you possibly can from them.
If your staff are stressed, whether it is through work or their personal lives, this will have an impact on their productivity, presence at work, connection and communication with colleagues, creativity and problem solving and more.
Stress greatly affects an individuals ability to work well, and leads to a variety of ailments that could see your absence rates soaring.
Stress is also linked to many physical complaints, so those migraines, backaches, digestive disorders that feature on your absence statistics could also be stress related.
Stress related absence costs the UK economy £18bn a year, and is set to rise. How much does it cost your business?
The good news is that there is a lot that you can do to help your staff manage and reduce their stress. Happy people work better, and are shown to demonstrate greater loyalty to their employer. There is nothing like feeling valued and cared for to make you want to give your best in return.
Taking care of staff wellbeing has many benefits for you as an employer, including greater productivity, reduced sick leave, increased staff loyalty, improved staff relationship, increased creativity and problem solving and so much more.
Balance and Breathe can help you improve the stress levels, resilience and wellbeing of your staff using tools and techniques that helped Esther Nagle, the founder, beat 20 years of addiction and depression. This stuff works!
If a member of staff is experiencing particular problems with stress, I can work with them either on a one off basis, or offering a regular course of sessions, to help them increase their personal resilience and develop stress management strategies. This could form part of return to work support, or to prevent a staff member reaching the point where absence is their only option.
Giving your staff the option to work one to one on developing resilience and stress management strategies will help them to feel valued by the organisation, and will help them to deal with future difficulties better.
Making stress management, reduction and awareness part of your overall staff well being strategy can be a powerful way to improve the health, happiness, and productivity of your whole staff, and send the message that you care. Investment in your staff will pay huge dividends and make you an employer people want to work for!

Stress at the top flows down through the rest of the organisation and can affect the entire culture of the company. Your managers are role models and leaders, if they learn how to manage their workload and reduce their stress, they can lead by example and share their learning with the rest of their teams.
I can work with your senior management to help them develop their own coping strategies to help them deal with the many pressures they face in their work, to understand how stress affects their team, and to teach them skills to pass on to the rest of the team.
Esther delivered a wellbeing yoga session for a research project, run by Merthyr and the Valleys Mind, in partnership with Age Connects Morgannwg. The session was professionally delivered and engaging throughout. The group of older beneficiaries fed back how much they benefited from the seated yoga class, how they have learnt new things, and how they have practised some of the movements learnt at home. I would recommend Esther’s yoga sessions, she was very knowledgeable around the subject area, demonstrating her ability to deliver a bespoke seat based session to suit the abilities of the participants.

What Our Customers Are Saying
Don’t just take it from us, let our customers do the talking!
Couch Potato Transformed
Esther came into our workplace for a series of classes. I was completely new to Yoga, and whilst my workload doesn’t allow me to be a total daily convert, she inspired me to listen to my body and my breathing and get off the couch more often. Thanks Esther for your endearing qualities.
Wisdom and guidance
I have always heard that one moment can change your life. Now I am living it. Thank you, Esther, for sharing your wisdom and your guidance. I am now a Yogi girl and it is the basis of my recovery. Breathe is what Esther told me and BREATHE is what I am learning to do. I am so grateful to have you as part of my journey.
